Team Daisy have arrived on English soil!

A shorter distance for Team Daisy today but an altogether different challenge when you look at the terrain. Some serious hills…but I suppose it is to be expected as you approach the National Park that houses the highest point in England!!

Cycle route 4

The day was started in style with early morning birthday celebrations for Team Daisy’s youngest member, Rob, who turns 26 today. What a way to spend his birthday!! Hopefully he’ll get chance to have a celebratory drink (or two) in Borrowdale later!!

After the birthday festivities, Team Daisy crossed the border into England and stopped for brunch in Carlisle.

Unfortunately they faced a slight delay when a hole in Nigel’s tyre meant that the spare bike (or the Ladybird as it is affectionately known!) was called in to use. Paul called on the ‘force’ to help him complete the job in record time!
